THANKSGIVING
We would like to thank God for His Presence and work among us during the Holy Week. A special word of thanks to all whom God used to minister to us.

OMRI
The Open Baptist Maru-A-Pula Reads Initiative (OMRI) will be re-opening for 2nd term on Saturday 4th May 2019. The initiative needs 25 bibles to be used in our continued efforts of child evangelism through this outreach program to the children of Maru- A-Pula.
Donations/Pledges toward breakfast and lunch for this 2nd term is also welcome. We thank the church membership and leadership for their continued support. Contact Pusetso Morapedi 72227975 and Onalenna Giddie 72116634.

SUNDAY SCHOOL & LITTLE LAMBS
The Sunday school & little lambs are closed for the holidays and will re-open on the 19th May 2019. Parents please ensure that your children accompany you to the Main Service Hall as the Sunday School Hall is closed and locked.

FRESH START MINISTRY
Give thanks in ALL circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Come and meet with us on 8 May for being set free from issues of your heart. Meetings are from 5:30-7:30 pm in the OBC Conference Room. Transportation home is arranged. Individual appointments are accepted. Phone Susan Mogwera on 72572827, 395 3779 for more details.

CHILDREN’S SECTION
The back section of the church is designated STRICTLY for parents with babies. We request that those without babies, sit in the front section of the church. The Cry Room is designated for babies aged 0-3 years accompanied by their parents.

BEREAVEMENT
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing on of Maipelo Sepako’s father, on Friday 26th April 2019.

OBC SOCCER TEAM
This afternoon at 3.00pm we invite you to come and support our church soccer team as they play a match against EFF Ministries in the InterChurch soccer league. We currently sit top of the league. We need your support!

APPRECIATION FROM THE WORSHIP TEAM
The Worship Team expresses its deep appreciation to all who supported the Made Alive! Concert on 12 April.
It was truly a time of great worship and celebration of the gift of salvation! An amount of P7 500 was received on the evening through the special offering, which will go towards purchase of a new keyboard.
However, for those who did not have the opportunity to give on the evening, you are still welcome to put your contribution in an envelope marked “Worship Team” and place it in the offering basket. Thank you once again!

The Church is encouraged to make any cash donations, tithes or offerings electronically through the church bank account.

HOME FELLOWSHIP BIBLE STUDY BOOKS
The “Having A Real Relationship with God” bible study books are still available in the Church Office for those who would like to get a copy. They are P30 per copy. We have 80 in stock.
