OBC SOCCER TEAM BRAAI
The Sports Ministry will be having a braai for the soccer boys on Saturday 13th July from 10.00am till 1.00pm. We would like to invite OBC men to come and meet with the boys in a social setting. This will be a time of fun and fellowship. Registration will be at the table outside after the service.

BAPTISMAL SERVICE – 21ST JULY 2019
Our Baptismal Service will be held on Sunday 21st July 2019 immediately after the 10.00am service.
OBC FAMILY FUN DAY – 3RD AUGUST 2019
All OBC, families and friends are invited to this year’s family fun day on Saturday 3rd August 2019 from 10.00am to 5.00pm. The day serves as an opportunity to have fun and fellowship as the OBC family.
There will be activities such as Aerobics, Tug of war, 5-a-side football, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, jumping castles, fun and games for all age groups.
Please register your teams comprising of a mixture of adults and youth for the team sports. Registration will begin on the 14th of July after the services.
This family fun day will also serve as a fundraiser for an OBC youth mission trip planned for later this year. For this reason, food and drinks will be on sale on the day. We will also accept donations towards this trip. More information will be provided in due time.
Both food and product stalls are now on sale for P350 (Food Stall) and P250 (Product Stall). Book yours before the 21st of July.

Please continue to pray for the FTN Volunteers as they round up their ministry in schools this fourth and final week.
- ADDITIONAL TEACHERS NEEDED
The Sunday school is in urgent need of teachers. We have a shortfall of at least four (4) teachers at 8 am service and three (3) teachers at the 10am service.

The Sunday school will be having an outreach to the less privileged children in our community and are therefore requesting the children to donate children’s toys, clothes, tinned food and cash donations to this cause.

Access into any of the church facilities Rooms/Halls is strictly by permission. Prior permission should be obtained from the Church Office before any facility can be used.

Let us join our brothers and sisters from the USA and Malawi in thanking God as they celebrated independence this past week.
- USA – 4TH JULY – Let us pray that the US would return to God and its principles, Christian education for the next generation will be a priority and that people would select godly leaders in the lead up to the 2020 elections.
- MALAWI – 6TH JULY – Let us pray for God’s intervention to bring peace, political and economic stability in the country and for the church in Malawi to play its prophetic and pastoral role in the nation.
