PRAYER AND FASTING – 16TH & 23RD OCTOBER 2018
The Prayer Committee invites you to join us in Fasting and Praying over the coming two Tuesdays, 16th and 23rd October, as we focus on Consecrating Ourselves to the Lord during the next two prayer meetings.

 

RADICALLY DIFFERENT CONCERT – 19TH OCTOBER 2018
FTN will be having its annual RADICALLY DIFFERENT Concert. Theme: “RE-IGNITING THE FIRE”. The aim of the concert is to re-claim UB and change it for Christ. The Church is invited to join FTN.

Entry is FREE

AUCTION SALE – 20TH OCTOBER 2018
The Church is in the process of clearing old, miscellaneous items from its garage/store rooms. Some of the items will be disposed of by giving them away, while others will be sold through auction. All those who are interested in buying are requested to go to the Church website, www.openbaptistbotswana.org to view the list of items for sale or contact the Church office.

COMMUNION SERVICE
Please note that there will be communion during both services next week, 21st October 2018.

WORSHIP MINISTRY CALL
The minstry would like to invite interested and called individuals from the church to join our ministry. Please come to our table after church for more information about the ministry and its policy on application. Contact elder Nyathi: 71654514, Mrs Nkomo: 72309135 or Pusetso: 72227975.

COUNSELLING
Counsellors, both old and new are invited to attend a meeting on Friday 2nd November 2018; that will be held in the Conference room from 6.00pm to 7.30pm. It will be an opportunity to meet with Pastor Asafa Makan’a.

CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR HOSPITAL PATIENTS
The Hospital Ministry Team hereby solicits donations of vaseline, toilet tolls, facial tissues, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste and chocolates, to be given to hospital patients during the Christmas period. Biscuits and chips are also needed for children’s wards. Items worth P30 will be packed for each patient. If you are able to assist, kindly drop these items at the church office or give monetary contributions to purchase them. The monetary contributions can be dropped with Arinola Adekanmbi (71410349), Devinka Ilangakoon (71616695), or Anthony Olashore (74954021). Deadline for collection is Sunday 11 November. We thank you for your support at all times.

SANITARY PADS DONATIONS
The Church is currently making collections of sanitary pads to be donated to Mahupo Unified Secondary School in Takatokwane. We kindly ask for donations from church members towards this. Donations can be brought to the Church office.

YOUTH WEEK 2019! MAGALIESBURG RSA, 2 – 7 JANUARY. FOR YOUTH AGED 13 TO 22 YEARS. Still one of the most popular events of the year for Christian youth. 5 days of sports, non-sports and adventure activities, good food and so much more. Most popular is tabernacle – twice a day, with great praise and worship and teaching by some of the top youth preachers in the region. There is quiet time and bible study and so many opportunities for the youth to connect with God. Many youth testify that they gave their lives to Christ at Youth Week. Cost: P1,400 including transport, accommodation and food. Forms available at OBC reception, CrossGold Bookshop (Sebele Centre) and at Ignite Youth at OBC on Friday nights.
