QUARTERLY GENERAL MEETING – 17TH NOVEMBER 2019
The Church is hereby informed that there will be a Quarterly General Meeting on Sunday 17th November 2019 starting immediately after the morning service.
There will only be one service for the day starting at 9.00am.
Members, please note that this is your responsibility and obligation to attend and contribute to the direction of the church.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY
The Women’s Ministry would like to thank all those who participated in the just ended Beauty for Ashes Conference by attending, inviting others to attend or serving in various ways. Special mention goes to the main speaker Mrs Mnjama, teachers, those who gave testimonies, the caterer – Stella, those who gave towards gifts and those who gave financially in sponsorship of tickets enabling many to attend. May God who sees even what is hidden continue to bless you.

FRESHSTART MINISTRY
Fresh Start for All Nations reminds us of the need of fervent prayers and intercession for Pastor Steve and Mindy Peterson. Pastor Steve ‘s health continues to decline. He has challenges with walking, breathing and swallowing.
Mindy is recovering from a broken leg. They continue to give thanks as per 1Thessalonians 5:17. No matter what happens; always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

OBC CHRISTMAS PARTY 2019
This year’s Christmas Party theme is “REACHING OUT IN THE LOVE OF CHRIST.” Let us reach out to our brothers and sisters by inviting one of them to celebrate with us on 30 November from 1.30pm – 6.30pm.
We will be grouped according to our Pastoral Zoning geographical locations getting to know one another as the OBC Family.
Please register for payments, volunteering and celebratory items. This helps us to plan an exciting event for all. Payments will be done from the end of the month to time of celebration.

REQUEST FOR CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR HOSPITAL PATIENTS
Christmas period is a good time to show love to the hospital patients. As usual, the Hospital Ministry Team is soliciting donations of Vaseline, Body lotions, Toilet rolls, Facial tissues, Facial towels, Soap, Toothbrush, Toothpaste and chocolates to be given to hospital patients during the Christmas period. If you are able to assist, kindly drop these items at the church office or give monetary contributions to purchase them. A table will also be manned outside by the Hospital Ministry Team after the service to collect donations. Deadline for collection is Sunday 1st December.
