LOVE STORY – WORSHIP NIGHT – FRIDAY 11TH MAY
The Open Baptist Church worship team invites you, your family, friends and colleagues to an evening of worship under the stars (weather permitting) on Friday the 11th of May 2018, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The worship concert is dubbed “LOVE STORY.”
Join us as we celebrate the love that God has shown to us by giving His only Son, Jesus. We do not have a set entry fee: We encourage you to give what you can. See you there!
COMMISSIONING
Kindly note that the leaders of all OBC Ministries will be commissioned in to the service of the Lord during the morning services.
LADIES NIGHT
The Women’s ministry invites young ladies to a pyjama party/sleep over. Join us for a night of fun and fellowship and learning together. Date: 18th May 2018
  • Time: 6pm – 9am (following day)
  • Venue: Sharon’s Rose Pre-school
  • Cost: Free
  • Target age: 20 – 35 years(approx)

MOTHERS DAY SERVICE
The Men’s Ministry will be in charge of Mother’s Day which will be on the 13th May 2018. All church activities will be performed by Men. Therefore, we are kindly calling on Men to fully participate in Praise and worship, ushering and in caring for our visitors. Please see Elder Francis Nyathi and Chris Chaeruka for allocation to your ministry of participation, after the service at the table outside. More information will be posted on the Men’s Ministry Whatsapp group.
BAPTISM
Anyone who feels that God is speaking to them concerning baptism and would like to be baptized by immersion is invited to register with the Church Office on 3184082 or email: obc@btcmail.co.bw
TUESDAY EVENING PRAYER SERVICE
Our weekly prayer meeting takes place on Tuesdays from 6.00pm to 7:15pm. We would like to encourage all Members to come and participate in corporate prayer, which is a crucial part of our worship.
ENGLISH LESSONS INITIATIVE
The leadership of the church is in receipt of a proposal from some members of the church to teach English to the Setswana speaking children from the neighborhood in an attempt to integrate them into the church activities.

FRESH START MINISTRY
“In my anguish I cried to the Lord, and He answered by setting me free.” Psalm 118:5. Come and Be Set Free from Pain, Bitterness, Hurt etc.. Wednesday 16th, 30th May from 5:30-7:30 pm in OBC Conference Room.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
The Sunday school & little lambs are closed for the school holidays and will re-open on 13th May 2018. Parents please ensure that your children accompany you to the main service hall as there are no supervisors at the Sunday school hall.
