TUESDAY EVENING PRAYER SERVICE
Please be reminded that the Weekly Prayer Service takes place on Tuesdays from 6.00pm to 7.15pm. We would like to encourage all Members to come and participate in corporate prayer, which is a crucial part of our Worship. The theme for our prayers this week comes from Luke18:1b – “Men always ought to pray and not lose heart.”

NEW CONVERTS DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES
Discipleship classes for those who recently came to know the Lord will be continue today immediately after the 2nd Service in the Conference Room. All those who have registered are encouraged to attend. For more information, please contact Deacon Howard Brown on 71136979.

MEMBERSHIP CLASSES
Membership classes will commence today, Sunday 29th October, immediately after the 8.00am morning service. All those who registered are requested to attend.

HOSPITAL MINISTRY ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR HOSPITAL PATIENTS
The Hospital Ministry Team is seeking donations of vaseline, toilet rolls, facial tissues, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste and chocolates to be given to hospital patients during the Christmas period. Biscuits and chips are also needed for children’s wards. Items worth P30 will be packed for each patient.
If you are able to assist, kindly drop these items at the Church Office or give monetary contributions to purchase them. The monetary contributions can be dropped with Arinola Adekanmbi (71410349), Devinka Ilangakoon (71616695), or Anthony Olashore (74954021). Deadline for collection: Sunday 19 November 2017.

2. SETSWANA-SPEAKING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR HOSPITAL MINISTRY
The Hospital Ministry team is looking for more members to join the Ministry, especially the Setswana-speaking people. If God is leading you to join the Ministry, please do not hesitate. FRESH START MINISTRY – PROCESSING THE ISSUES OF YOUR HEART

2018 MINISTRY PLANS AND BUDGET PROPOSALS
All the Church ministries and departments are requested to submit their ministry/department plans (calendar events) and budget proposals to the Church Office. The deadline for submission is Friday 8th December 2017. All proposals are to be submitted in soft copy to admin@openbaptistbotswana.org or call 3184082 and ask to speak to Mavis Botlhale.

MOMENTUM – MEN’S CONFERENCE
All Men are cordially invited to moMENtum, an end of year 2-day Conference to be held at Open Baptist Church.
The aim of the conference is to see men begin to move forward into the roles God set for them and keep the momentum going through to future generations.
THEME: Fathers and Sons United in Sound Leadership – Titus 2:6-8
DATES: Friday 10 November 2017: 6.00 – 8.30pm and
Saturday 11 November 2017: 8.00am – 4.00pm.

CONGRESS ON “REVIVAL LABOURS IN BOTSWANA” BY THE LIVING SEED MINISTRY.
The church is invited to a congress of Pastors, Ministry Leaders and Leaders of Christian organisations to be conducted by the Living Seed ministry. The team will be led by Professor Vuyani Ntintili, who is the Director of Living Seed in South Africa. Participation is FREE but pre-Registration is essential as a mid-morning tea and lunch will be provided
on Saturday.
Date: Friday 3rd, November 2017 from 6.00pm – 8.30pm & Saturday, 4th November 2017 from 8.30am – 4.30pm.
Venue: Open Baptist Church Hall

YOUTH WEEK 2018: 2 – 7 JANUARY.
FOR YOUTH AGED 13- 22 YEARS, MAGALIESBURG RSA
The Youth Week is one of the most popular events of the year for Christian youth. 5 days of sports, non-sport and adventure activities, good food and so much more. What remains most popular is tabernacle, twice a day, with great praise and worship and teaching by some of the top youth preachers in the region. There is quiet time and bible study in the morning and so many opportunities for the youth to connect with God. Many youth testify that they gave their lives to Christ at Youth Week.
Cost: P1,350. Forms are available at OBC reception, CrossGold bookshop and at Ignite Youth at OBC on Friday nights.
Submission deadline is 15 November 2017.
