BAPTISMAL CLASSES – 5TH & 12TH AUGUST 2018
Baptismal classes will be on the 5th and 12th August 2018 during the 10.00am service and all those who have registered for baptism are expected to attend. For those who have not yet registered, this is the last week for registration.
The Baptismal service will be on the 19th August 2018.

FTN THANKSGIVING CEREMONY – 11TH AUGUST 2018
Face the Nation Volunteers are back from the field and they have so much to thank the LORD and the Church for. Therefore, the Church is invited to the FTN Thanksgiving Ceremony to come and hear firsthand from the volunteers as they relate their ministry stories and experiences.
Date: 11th August 2018 Time: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Venue: Sunday School Hall

WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Ladies, Ladies, Ladies! Do you want to know what’s cooking?
Join the Women’s Ministry on Saturday 18th August 2018 as we look at healthy cooking.
Venue: OBC Conference Room Time: 3.00pm promptly to 5.00pm

MENS MINISTRY
The OBC Men’s Ministry invites all the Men to our next event – a Game Drive and Bush Braai at Mokolodi Nature Reserve. There will also be a sharing and discussion on “The Leadership Role of the Man” with our guest speaker Pastor Mmoloki Mogokgwane (AFM Mogoditshane).
Date: Saturday 25th August 2018
Time: 11.00am – 3.00pm
Cost: P200 per person [covers the game drive and braai (drinks at the braai will be on cash sale). A registration table will be set up after both services.

OPERATION INASMUCH – 8TH SEPTEMBER 2018
Operation InAsMuch is BACK! Kindly diarise the 8th September 2018, more information will follow in the coming weeks.

TUESDAY PRAYER MEETING
Our weekly prayer meeting takes place on Tuesdays from 6.00pm to 7:15pm. We would like to encourage all Members to come and participate in corporate prayer, which is a crucial part of our worship.

OPEN BAPTIST MARU-A-PULA READS INITIATIVE (OMRI)
The English Teaching program known as the Open Baptist Maru-A-Pula Reads Initiative (OMRI) would like to inform the church of our program closure for 2nd term and it’s scheduled reopening for 3rd Term on Saturday August 11 at 10:00am. We request the membership’s support in the form of donations (cash) that will go towards purchasing of meals for this coming term . We are also still urgently in need of teachers to assist with English lessons.
