SPECIAL CIC – SUNDAY 11 FEBRUARY 2018
The Church is hereby informed that there will be a Special Church-in-Conference meeting on Sunday 11th February 2018 starting at 11.00am. The main agenda of the meeting is to consider the Search Committee’s recommendation on the Senior Pastor candidate. There will only be one service for that day starting at 9.00am. All registered members are expected to attend.

TUESDAY EVENING PRAYER SERVICE
Please be reminded that the weekly prayer service has resumed and takes place on Tuesdays from 6.00pm to 7:15pm. We would like to encourage all Members to come and participate in corporate prayer, which is a crucial part of our worship.

COUNSELLING
In a world of confusion and despair, it’s good to know that there is someone to turn to, who can help you through the challenges you face. We have a team of counsellors who are ready to help you. You can contact the Church Office on 3184082 to arrange an appointment.

NEW CONVERTS DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES
Discipleship classes for those who recently came to know the Lord continue TODAY immediately after the 2nd service in the Conference Room, opposite the Church Reception. For more information, please contact Deacon Howard Brown on 74819757.

GIVING THROUGH CHEQUES
All those giving their tithes and offerings in the form of cheques are kindly requested to write their contact details at the back of the cheque. This will enable us to contact you if and when the need arises.

LIBRARY
Happy New Year to our readers in Open Baptist Church. The library reopens today, Sunday 28th January 2018. You are encouraged to borrow library materials.

FAREWELL
This Is to inform the Church that Smangele Mandidi, who has served in the Children’s ministry as a Sunday School teacher and was a member of the Blessed Home Fellowship group; has relocated back to Zimbabwe. We thank her for the time she has spent with us and wish her well in her new endeavor. Let us continue to pray for her.

HOME FELLOWSHIPS
Home Fellowship members and aspiring members are reminded that meetings in various homes will resume on Wednesday 31st January and Thursday 1st February 2018. We will be studying “The Essentials of Effective Prayer.” The Bible Study material is now available at P40 per copy. Home Fellowship leaders are reminded to facilitate the purchase of the material.

IGNITE YOUTH
Our youth returned from Youth week in Magaliesburg 2 weeks ago and we would like to congratulate them for a successful youth week. The 190+ Botswana youth contigent were well behaved & also the winners of the inter-youth games at youth week!
