Bulletin 26th June 2016

Categories: Church,Events

There will be a Home Fellowship Reflections night at the church on Wednesday 29th June 2016 at 6:00pm. This is an avenue for all fellowship members to reflect on the Essentials of Your Faith by Dr Charles Stanley. Each Home Fellowship is expected to identify someone who will share for 5 minutes on how the study has benefited them/their group.
Those who do not belong to any home fellowship are also encouraged to attend.
Refreshments will be available at the end of the meeting.

Check it out at the next Fresh Start meetings held in the OBC Conference Room.
– Wednesday 6th July at 5:30pm
– Wednesday 20th July at 5:30pm

The Sports Ministry would like to acknowledge and thank members of the OBC family for the continued support in the donation of used clothing. We shall continue receiving the donations as we prepare for the winter season, festive season, the InAsMuch Community Outreach project, and to share with our 200 odd friends at Moshupa Boys Prison.
Items in demand include shoes, woollen hats, woollen gloves, men’s briefs and woollen socks. Please contact Joshua Tlangae on 72743193 or the Church Office.

It’s with deep sadness to announce the passing of the following:
· The father of our brother Henry, Pa James Nwaigwe, who died on Saturday 4 June in Abia State Nigeria, at the age of 88. He will be buried on Friday 29th July 2016. Henry will be travelling home sometime in early July for the burial. Our prayers are with Henry and Celine at this time. Members are encouraged to visit the family.

· Pastor Steve Peterson from Fresh Start for All Nations in USA sent a message that his mother, Marge Boyer, graduated to heaven on 16th June in the evening. The funeral is 1st July. They request prayers for comfort, the preparations and celebration of Marge’s life.
