ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – 8TH APRIL 2018
The Church is hereby informed that there will be an Annual General Meeting on Sunday 8th April 2018 starting at 11.00am. Hence there will only be one service for that day starting at 9.00am. All registered members are expected to attend.

PRISON MINISTRY REQUEST FOR DONATION
The Prisons Ministry is facilitating Education and Welfare at the Moshupa Boys Prison, and through this facilitation bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the inmates. The Ministry is kindly requesting for donation of soccer balls, soccer boots, chess sets, checkers/draughts sets and Scrabble board games for the inmates at Moshupa Boys Prison. Your donation can also be made in cash.

FACE THE NATION
Face The Nation School of Discipleship is drawing closer. If you are in tertiary school, you are a graduate, born again and you are abstaining from sex, come to the FTN Office to register for training. Forms are available in the FTN Office or Church Office during the week, Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm.

ARE YOU A CARING PERSON? BECOME A STEPHEN MINISTER
What is Stephen Ministry? Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in congregations that use the Stephen Series system. Stephen Ministers provide care to individuals facing difficult times in life e.g grief, cancer, divorce, financial difficulties, hospitalization, chronic illness, job loss, disability, loneliness, a spiritual crisis, or other life struggles. TUESDAY EVENING PRAYER SERVICE
Please be reminded that the weekly prayer service takes place on Tuesdays from 6.00pm to 7:15pm.
We would like to encourage all Members to come and participate in corporate prayer, which is a crucial part of our worship.

COUNSELLING
In a world of confusion and despair, it’s good to know that there is someone to turn to, who can help you through the challenges you face. We have a team of counsellors who are ready to help you. You can contact the Church Office on 3184082 to arrange an appointment.

BASIC COUNSELLING SKILLS TRAINING
There is a growing need for counsellors within the church and therefore an invitation is extended to those who are interested in counselling and feel called to be counsellors. There will be Basic Counselling Skills training that will run over 2 weekends on the following dates:
– Friday 13th April (6pm – 8pm) – Saturday 14th April 2018 (9am – 1pm).
– Friday 27th April (6pm – 8pm) – Saturday 28th April 2018 (9am – 1pm).
This is an introduction to Christian Counselling and is designed to equip any believer with skills to help others in need of spiritual direction and guidance. The training seeks to clarify ideas about Christian Counselling and it is a prerequisite for Lay Counsellors training to enable them to serve in the Christian Counselling Ministry.
