DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES FOR NEW BELIEVERS/MEMBERS
Being a disciple encompasses more than just asking Christ in, and goes far beyond baptism. Our conversion, our acceptance of Christ as Saviour, is the beginning, the entrance, into the faith and Christian life. It does not stop there! It starts there! This series is for new believers in the Lord and those who need the foundations of discipleship in their faith walk. This follows the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), the final admonition Jesus gave to His disciples during His earthly ministry. The emphasis of this series is on understanding discipleship (concept, basis, conditions, etc) and the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of a Disciple. The series will cover 8 sessions: one session per week every Thursday from 6-7pm, starting Thursday, September 25, 2014. To participate, please register with Boitumelo Maruza at the Church Office (tel. 3184082) before Tuesday, September 23.

JESO O RENA MO BOTSWANA (PRAYER WALK) 1ST OCTOBER 2014
Last year, The Unashamed Movement organised a prayer walk called “God Belongs in My City.” Approximately 1400-1500 people walked through the city and stopped to pray at different venues for Botswana and the nations at large. This year, on 1st October at 6.30am, we are planning a similar prayer walk beginning and ending at the Three Chiefs Monument. We have prayerfully decided to change the name this year to “JESO O RENA MO BOTSWANA” [Jesus Reigns in Botswana] as we mobilise people to pray for our nation during this election year. We would like to invite and encourage you to walk and pray with us. We have T-shirts that read JESO O RENA MO BOTSWANA in black, blue, and white (Botswana colours) selling at P80 each. Participants are encouraged to wear one of the T-shirts during the walk, but it is not required. For more information, contact Joshua (72743193), Peter (72583263) or George (71217283)
