Did you know? The last OBC Table Tennis Team that has represented us so well in all Inter Church Tournaments was composed of Dr. G. Adekanmbi, Ngoni Chiswiti and Prof. Tunde M. Oladiran who are now elders!  We need to build a new team soon.
Table Tennis, Chess and Darts enthusiasts are invited to meet on Saturday 27thn June at 9.00am. Register with the Sports Office. Thank you.

BEREAVEMENT
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing on of the following:

  • The younger sister of Mavis Botlhale, Onami Botlhale, passed on, on the night of Monday 15th June and is being laid to rest today in Palapye.
  • The younger sister of Professor Nathan Mnjama, Esthredah Chao Mnjama, passed on, on the night of Sunday 14th June. Prof. and Mrs Mnjama have now travelled to Kenya for the burial.
  • The brother of Mrs Opiyo, Martine Oola Otto passed on last month. We also got the news that her sister, Sophia Apio Otto also went to be with the Lord last week. Mrs Opiyo is currently in the USA and is expected to return to Botswana next month.

We  are encouraged during this difficult time to be in prayers with the families and where possible, visit them at home upon their return.

MAC iBlanket THANK YOU
We want to thank God for your partnership and support of the MBC (Mantshwabisi Baptist Church) Kids Mission on DAC (Day of the African Child). We received a total of 19 blankets; 7 handed out at the Paediatric Ward, 1 handed to a baby in Mantshwabisi village, and the remaining blankets will be distributed next Sunday to kids of MBC. Your partnership has been a blessing to us so that we can be a blessing to others.
