The school of Discipleship continues with the ‘Disciplers Course’ and a new ‘Personal Financial Management’ course. If you are interested in learning to manage your finances, you are invited to attend.
CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR HOSPITAL PATIENTS
The Hospital Ministry Team hereby solicits donations of vaseline, toilet rolls, facial tissues, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste and chocolates, to be given to hospital patients during the Christmas period. Children’s toys, biscuits and chips are also needed for children’s wards. Items worth P20 will be packed for each patient. If you are able to assist, kindly drop these items at the church office or give monetary contributions to purchase them. The monetary contributions should be dropped with Arinola Adekanmbi (71410349), Devinka Ilangakoon (71616695) or Ambrose Rukewe (76226524). Deadline for collection: Sunday 20 November. Thank you.
HOME FELLOWSHIP REFLECTIONS NIGHT, 30TH NOVEMBER
All worshippers at OBC are invited to the Home Fellowship Reflections Night, on Wednesday 30th November 2016, starting at 6pm. The purpose is to give home fellowship members the opportunity to share their testimonies on the current study, KNOWING WHAT YOU BELIEVE. Those who do not belong to any home fellowships will also be able to identify and join one. Venue: Main Church Sanctuary. Please bring snacks and drinks to share.
MANYANA SPORTS OUTREACH
OBC Sports Ministry together with other church ministries and the Manyana Youth Development will be conducting a sports tournament in Manyana on the 3rd of December 2016. This is going to be the fourth time OBC is conducting this kind of outreach. The purpose of this outreach is to reach out the community of Manyana and especially to the youth. The church at large is invited to be part of this outreach. Apart from the Sports activities, there is going to be house to house and one on one evangelism and tracts distribution in the Manyana area.
We would like to call on the OBC family to sign up and join us in numbers and help us in make the outreach a success.
We once more appeal to the ever so helpful OBC family to assist with donations and cash to meet the cost of transport and food. Food items should cover bread, sugar, mealie meal, samp, meat, tea, oros, milk, vegetables bottled water etc. Please contact church office or sports office for more information. The forms will be available after service for registering items to bring.
