ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – TODAY AT 11.00AM
The Church is hereby informed that there will be an Annual General Meeting TODAY, starting at 11.00am. All registered members are expected to attend. The Agenda for the meeting is avaolable at the tables outside.

COMMUNION SERVICE
Please note that there will be communion during the services next week, 18th March 2018.

FACE THE NATION
Face The Nation School of Discipleship is drawing closer. If you are in tertiary school, you are a graduate, born again and you are abstaining from sex, come to the FTN Office to register for training. Forms are available in the FTN Office or Church Office during the week, Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm.

TUESDAY EVENING PRAYER SERVICE
Please be reminded that the weekly prayer service has resumed and takes place on Tuesdays from 6.00pm to 7:15pm.
We would like to encourage all Members to come and participate in corporate prayer, which is a crucial part of our worship.

FAREWELL TO THE ALEXANDERS
Brother Oomen and Sister Susan Alexander, who arrived in Botswana in 1987, and joined the OBC in 1994, are returning to India today. While at OBC, Brother Oomen served as a Deacon at some point and Sister Susan was a member of the Care Committee. Both were also committed members of the Blessed Fellowship which meets in Block 8. During the first service last week, the church prayed for them. We wish the Alexanders all the best as they return to India.

EASTER GIFTS FOR HOSPITAL PATIENTS
Easter period is a good time to show love to the hospital patients again. The Hospital Ministry Team therefore solicits donations of Vaseline, Body lotions, Toilet rolls, Facial tissues, Facial towels, Soap, Toothbrush, Toothpaste and chocolates to be given to hospital patients during the Easter period. Children’s toys, biscuits and chips also needed for children’s wards. If you are able to assist, kindly drop these items at the church office or give monetary contributions to purchase them.
The monetary contributions should be dropped with Arinola Adekanmbi (71410349) or Devinka Ilangakoon (71616695) or Anthony Olashore (74954021).
Deadline for collection is today, Sunday March 11. We thank you all for your usual support.

In a world of confusion and despair, it’s good to know that there is someone to turn to, who can help you through the challenges you face. We have a team of counsellors who are ready to help you. You can contact the Church Office on 3184082 to arrange an appointment.

  • COUNSELLORS NEEDED
    There is a growing need for counselors within the church and therefore an invitation is extended to those who are interested in counselling and feel called to be counselors. There will be training soon. Register through the Church Office on 3184082 or email obc@btcmail.co.bw.

What is Stephen Ministry? Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in congregations that use the Stephen Series system.
Stephen Ministers provide care to individuals facing difficult times in life e.g grief, cancer, divorce, financial difficulties, hospitalization, chronic illness, job loss, disability, loneliness, a spiritual crisis, or other life struggles.
